When you see this kind of things you end up to this conclusions. With "this" I am refearing myself to something that happened in my town. My mom was in the local council, representing the town with the PSN (PSOE). Everything went fine, everybody was happy with her because she was different: "more social than politic".
There came the moment to disagree with the PSN team in one decision, in one vote. The issue of the Bardenas and the army training with bombs there. All the people in Tudela is more than tired of all of this. They were like 50 years for now and now the contract is ending. The local council had to decide what to do: we let them continue for another 20 years? we say no?
My mom, like the rest of the people from Tudela, is against the army throwing bombs there. BUT! PSN, from Pamplona and Madrid, decided their position about that issue would be to let them continue for another 20 years more. The problem is, when they wanted to win the elections in Tudela, the PSN declared that they were against that topic.
My mom was forced to vote "yes" so after that she left the PSN but not the local council.
Now the PSN is asking her to leave the local council so they can put another PSN person in her place, probably a person that can obey them forgetting the own conscience.
But you can read all the comments that actually are by her side, but she is not a good politician, she is a social worker and fighter. She made them look at themselves in a mirror and they didn't like what they saw. So, they ask her to leave so they can forget what they are: cowards. Because she is not the only one against the issue of Bardenas in the PSN. We all have seen them march in a demonstration each year against that topic, now silently agree with what they are told to do.

Sad but true
Is really sad the truth that we are living in this country. The average spanish person doesn't talk english at all. We have a very big problem, that is the fear to fail, the shame to be ridiculous.
And of course the english that we learn is not spoken english, we learn a little grammar and how to pass the exams. I don't know how it is in the language schools but what I see, what I have experimented myself is what I say. We don't learn how to express ourselves in english.
The thing is that in some companies the english sometimes is required. And is so sad when you hear someone trying to talk in english with a client.
I have just heard someone saying "imaje" like you read it in spanish to a client.
I don't know what will happen with the bilingual school students, but as far as I am concerned they don't work with the accent so much, I can see that in my sister, although it seems that she has a very good level but... she doesn't think in english, that's the problem, they have to teach that in a bilingual school, they should do that.
In other european countries you can easily find people talking to you in english when it is not their language at all.
The sad truth is that we don't speak languages.

WWZ: Are you prepared?
I think I have read about "The Zombie Survival Guide" worte by Max Brooks in Dkv's blog. Today I received an email from play.com with the last offers and I saw there the book of World War Z by Max Brooks. Then I started to search the ebooks in english and searching I have found in imdb that in 2010 they are going to make the movie "World War Z". As a Zombie fan I am I must read these books and see the movie even if it is the biggest shit on Earth :P
For now it seems only a project that Brad Pitt's producer, Plan B, is interested in.
But I hope they make another movie of zombies. After Romero, the Resident Evil series and the 28 series (I am waiting for 28 years later) what can I see about zombies??? Appart of that is truly shit. I have seen even movies I had to turn them off :D
This is the official website of the book. Enjoy!
By the way, you have to understand that I am a person that in a bar, in a building is searching for exits in the case a Zombie attack occurs to me... yes, I am insane and a crazy woman :P
I have heard that so many times I don't even try to deny it :)

Terminator Salvation
I didn't have any clue that this would ever happen... and in the case I would have guessed... I would not have thought that the T-800 would be Arnold Schwarzenegger no more.
Would be right to think that Hollywood has no new ideas anymore? Because we all are tired of the sequels and prequels, though we still go to see them (some of them to the cinemas :P I must admit).
Batman, I mean Bale, is everywhere now, he will be John Connor, so perhaps is a good movie againt all my prejudices.

Twilight, The movie
I have to say that this movie really left me a good feeling. It was a very good adaptation of the book into a movie.
In the begining when I knew about the movie I was totally against the movie. I didn't like the actors, I didn't like that they were going to fuck my book in the cinemas... but I really must say that it was incredibly good. At least they told everything the best way the could in a two hours movie.
The actor that plays Edward is playing the rol really well.
So, I went to see the movie expecting to be tremendous disappointed but it was the opposite reaction. I am glad that finally I see a movie that is based in a book and it doesn't disappoint me.
So I highly recommend the movie to those people that as me read the entire saga and they loved each book.
I must say I really hated the second book, but because I was even suffering! hehe. I am that way, I am too sensitive sometimes.
If someone that reads this blog sees the movie I hope they post some comments!!
